If you have been on Rob’s walk Islington London’s Larder you may remember the custom of the Islington Milkmaid’s dancing the Milkmaid’s Garland, rather fancifully depicted by Francis Hayman. You can see the Milkmaids Garland being danced in Islington today (May 1st) by the New Esperance Womens Morris Team at various locations starting at the Compton Arms at 1pm
