The City of London bears a wealth of reminders of the presence of William Shakespeare. This tour is an imaginative exploration of the City which – with the help of readings – evokes the life and work of arguably the greatest writer in the English language.

As his friend and fellow writer Ben Jonson said of Shakespeare, ‘He was not of an age but for all time’!

This is a virtual tour hosted live via Zoom video conferencing, where your guide will show slides and give a talk to accompany them. There will be the opportunity for questions both during and after the talk.
