Enjoy the fantastic lights and Christmas shop windows of Chelsea this year, all the festive hum without the festive scrum

Step into Chelsea’s Christmas wonderland of lights , decoration and festive Christmas shop windows at some of world’s best known stores, including Tiffany, Prada, Dolce & Gabana, Gucci, Harvey Nicholls , and ending our Guided Walk at London’s landmark store for luxury – Harrods.

For me, it is as impressive as Oxford Street, Regents Street, and Bond Street, with less crowds to detract from the experience.

We will start at Sloane Square , always incredibly well lit at Christmas, and then walk to Duke of Your Square – which in 2025 was beautifully decorated with the theme of the Twelve Days of Christmas.

This year again, as in 2025, The Royal Marsden Charity is hosting the Ever After Garden event in Duke of York Square, in front of the Saatchi Gallery. In 2025 it featured in excess of 30,000 illuminated white roses , with visitors able to dedicate a rose in memory of a loved one during the festive season.

Please note, there will not be time to dedicate a rose during our walk, if you wish to do so, please get to Sloane Square early – it is a 5 minute walk from the station.

We will them head up Sloane Street towards Knightsbridge, with its’ array of designer labels and high-end stores, as well as stunning Christmas lights. Ending our walk at Harrods, close to both Knightsbridge station and Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park.

During the walk, we will enjoy a festive feast for the eyes, as well as hearing some history of the area and its’ buildings, how Christmas was celebrated in previous centuries, and the origins of current Christmas traditions.

Our meeting spot will be outside Sloane Square underground station, the City of London, please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the Walk.

The Walk should take 1 hours 30 minutes, but please allow for an extra 15 minutes, finishing close to Knightsbridge underground station.
