A morning looking at Roman remains in London

There are a lot of Roman remains in London, although they are a bit unimpressive compared to Rome. Nonetheless they crop up in surprising places and on this walk you’ll see plenty of them.

You’ll see Roman pavements, parts of London’s Roman Wall, the amphitheatre, and other fragments of Roman London.

We will walk the streets of the modern day City using a map of Roman London to see where buildings were. The walk ends at the London Museum to show you some of my favourite Roman artefacts from their collection. In total it works out about a 3 mile walk.
