The Inns of Court dominate Legal London. For centuries they have been preparing barristers for a life at the bar. Joined by Chancery Lane, they are rich with interest in their own right. But this tour also takes in other areas of our legal life.
For instance, who regulates the barristers and solicitors? How can you get legal help if you can’t afford it? And what about the Royal Courts of Justice – otherwise known as the Law Courts – which embody the complexities of our legal system?
Meet me outside the Blackfriar Pub at 174 Queen Victoria Street, EC4V 4EG (across the road from Blackfriars Underground Station).
The tour will take approximately two hours, and finishes by Chancery Lane Underground Station.
