The River Thames has inspired writers for generations. On this journey along the Thames, Rob will be reading from books set on or about the Thames. Starting at Vauxhall the tour travels by Uber Boat eastwards, with readings along the way of extracts from , C P Snow, Susanah Gregory, Fiona Buckley, Alan Moore , Virginia Woolf . H M Tomlinson and many more authors.

The tour ends at Barking Reach where you can pick up the London Overground or head back by boat through the Thames Barrier and Tower Bridge in the dusk.
