More than eight hundred years of unrest in the City!

Political activism is never far from us these days – but it’s nothing new.

You may have heard of Wat Tyler, but what about Jack Cade? And the popular hero known as William Fitz Osbert?

Once the now sedate streets of the City ran with blood – and indeed with water! But is violence the answer? What about nonviolence and teaching?

Meet me outside Cannon Street Station on Cannon Street.

The tour will take approximately two hours, and finishes near Barbican and St Paul’s Underground Stations and City Thameslink.
