Her walks are mostly off the beaten track taking in hidden alleyways and lesser known streets.\u00a0 Many walks have a food or pub theme and sometimes include stops in historic pubs, bars or unusual coffee shops.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Joanna qualified as a City of Westminster Guide in 2009, spent 5 years as Events Organiser for the Association and ran their Twitter feed for some time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In 2015 Joanna then qualified as a Clerkenwell &amp; Islington Guide. From Summer 2018 she has been organising speakers for the Association\u2019s monthly meetings and currently looks after their Twitter feed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">.Joanna\u2019s best-selling walks are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">From Monoux and Morris to Beer and Bacon Jam \u2013 a walk around Walthamstow<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A Foodie Themed Christmas Lights Walk<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Other regular walks are in and around the West End, Clerkenwell &amp; Islington and Chingford<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As well as leading walks for Footprints of London Joanna also has her own website <a href=\"http:\/\/westminsterwalks.london\/\">http:\/\/westminsterwalks.london\/<\/a> \u00a0She is an occasional blogger too <a href=\"http:\/\/westminsterwalks.london\/blog\/\">http:\/\/westminsterwalks.london\/blog\/<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Reviews of Joanna\u2019s Walthamstow walk include these two:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>&#8220;Such an interesting walk. I was born and bred in Walthamstow, but Joanna still showed me things that I didn&#8217;t know about &#8211; in particular the cobbled street, and the information about the man that Lloyd Park was named after! She showed a passion for the area and this was catching! Thank you Joanna!&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>&#8220;I knew nothing about Walthamstow apart from the William Morris gallery. &#8230; Joanna\u2019s tour was informative and fun &#8211; a bit of history, anecdote, and lots of information about what\u2019s happening in Walthamstow now. Very friendly and relaxed. I will be looking out for more of Joanna\u2019s tours!&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">And these two for Soho Uncensored:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>&#8220;Excellent tour of curiosities and hidden history of Soho &#8211; although I work in the area I learnt a lot about the scandals and stories hidden away in this maze of streets.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>&#8220;I am based in London but know very little about the history of some of the most interesting parts &#8211; like Soho. I went on this walk with clients of mine from USA and it was one of the best walking tours I&#8217;ve been on. The walk was not too long &#8211; only a couple of kms all together &#8211; and took us through the dark and interesting parts of Soho as well as some of the lesser known streets and alley ways.
