After a degree in Classics he has worked in the Square Mile for over 25 years \u2013 starting at the bottom as a temp mailroom\/photocopy operator and now at the dizzy heights of a Vice President of a global investment bank.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has always loved poking round the odd corners of the City and in 2017 qualified in the prestigious and very competitive Corporation of London City Guides course, and is now a proud guide not only for the whole of the Square Mile, but also Stationers’ Hall and the newly opened Roman Bathhouse in Billingsgate.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is also a Freeman of the City of London and a Livery Member of the Worshipful Company of Stationers who date back to 1403.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to all this he has a secret life as \u2026 The Delusionist, Master of Magic!<\/span><\/p>\n

David Harry \u2013 aka the Delusionist – is an engaging entertainer, combining an easy-going charm and stunning magic to make your event memorable beyond belief.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has performed at the Royal Academy, Twickenham Stadium, Stationers’ Hall, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the BFI Southbank, the Park Lane Hilton and many Charity events.<\/span><\/p>\n

I love the city of London and often wonder what went on in the beautiful buildings around me. I took my mum on this walk who loves history and we both thoroughly enjoyed the tour. David is extremely knowledgeable, passionate and funny, he is a great story teller and even threw in some magic!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

We had a super time and I would definitely join another of David’s tours……….in fact I have just booked on the next one!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The city of London is jam-packed full of history and intriguing details in every corner, and David really makes it both interesting and fun to walk around – pointing out things you never thought about and impressing you with his knowledge and passion. The tour is well worth the time, you walk away looking at the square mile from a whole new perspective.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

David is very knowledgeable and very passionate about his subject, he is also a fantastic story teller. He shared very interesting history and presented them in a way that held everyone’s attention and made us looking forward to what would come next :). I had a fabulous evening and I would consider joining again, taking friends and family along. Thank you David.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
