Literary Footprints will have over 40 walks, readings and talks at venues across London, throughout October. Keep checking the website for details but the events you can book now are<\/p>\n<p>Keats in Hampstead with Anita Miller &#8211;\u00a0<a title=\"Keats in Hampstead\" href=\"http:\/\/keats5oct.eventbrite.co.uk\/\">11am 5th October<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/keats12oct.eventbrite.co.uk\">11am 12th October<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Follow in the footsteps of John Keats and hear the story of his life with readings from some of his best-loved poems.\u00a0 Hampstead and the Heath were a great inspiration to Keats and we will visit places that he knew well, including the Vale of Health where he met his mentor and friend,\u00a0Leigh Hunt.\u00a0 There will be a stroll through the Heath and we finish at Keats House where he fell in love with Fanny Brawne and wrote some of his most popular poetry.<\/p>\n<p>Keats in London\u00a0 with Anita Miller &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/keats26oct.eventbrite.co.uk\">11am 26th October<\/a><\/p>\n<p>John Keats was known as the &#8216;Cockney poet&#8217; and this walk explores parts of London where he lived and studied. Hear the story of his life and enjoy readings from his poetry and letters along the way. We will start at Keats birthplace in Moorgate and weave through quiet City streets to Cheapside.\u00a0Later stops include Apothecaries Hall and Guys Hospital where Keats studied surgery.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/keats26oct.eventbrite.co.uk\/\">Book Here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>London Destroyed\u00a0with Rob Smith &#8211;\u00a0<a title=\"London Destroyed\" href=\"http:\/\/ldndestroyed.eventbrite.co.uk\/\">7pm 24th October<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This walk looks at the London\u00a0locations that have featured in dystopian and post apocalyptic fiction. London has been destroyed fictionally many times in books films and paintings. The walk will involve readings from some of these works, allowing the walkers to contrast the current surroundings with the imagined world of the author.
