Well for each and every famous man there is certainly at least one woman, if not two, who can stand up and be counted amongst them. The likes of Rachel Beer, editor-in-chief of <i>The Observer <\/i>and <i>The Sunday Times. <\/i>The first &#8216;glossy&#8217; style magazine <i>Queen<\/i>\u00a0was the brainchild of Mrs Beeton no less. The first British daily newspaper <i>The Daily Courant <\/i>was created by Elizabeth Mallett. My walk taking place next weekend covers many more independent and strong-minded women who achieved much in this so-called &#8216;man&#8217;s world&#8217;.
