During this walk we will venture through the streets and square of Belgravia to hear of love stories with both happy and sad endings!

It all began with the sad marriage between Mary Davies and Thomas Grosvenor and we learn that even today their descendant is one of the most eligible men in the country.

We shall hear about the loves and losses of the Iron Lady and Dennis, Mary Shelley and Lord Byron and Prince Bertie and his Jersey Lily. From the movies Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton and the real love story of Scarlet O’Hara.

We will also hear of an love affair involving The Beatles and the Love That Dares to Speak its Name – as in Brian Epstein.

Love is a most powerful emotion and in its extreme it can lead to bloody murder, so we will hear of the story of Lord and Lady Luncan. And we will end with the story of the Profumo affair – a romance that shocked Parliament and the country
